US Citizenship through Naturalization
Lawful Permanent Residents are eligible to naturalize if:
1. They have 5 years of lawful permanent residence in the U.S., with no less than 913 days of physical presence in the U.S. (1/2 of the 5 years) and no absences over 180 consecutive days.
2. They have 3 years of permanent residence and have been married to and residing with their US citizen spouse for that period of time, with no less than 548 days of physical presence in the U.S. (1/2 of the 3 years and no absences over 180 consecutive days.
